Selena Gomez's 'Wizards' Snags 2010 Creative Arts Emmys
'Wizards of Waverly Place : The Movie' nabs Best Children's Program, 'The Pacific' leads with seven statuettes, while Betty White and Neil Patrick Harris each take home the acting kudo.
"Wizards" bested over Miranda Cosgrove's "iCarly, Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" and Jonas Brothers' "J.O.N.A.S!", which has been retitled into "Jonas L.A." for its second season. Betty won Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for "Saturday Night Live", Neil stole Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for "Glee", while John and Ann grabbed Best Guest Actor and Actress in a Drama Series.
2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be broadcast as a two-hour special on E! Entertainment Television on Friday, August 27, at 1:00 P.M. ET/PT. "Glee" star Jane Lynch and creator Ryan Murphy along with "Mad Men" actress Christina Hendricks, "Desperate Housewives" newest member Vanessa Williams and "The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels were among those making an appearance on the show.
