Cyrus Accused Of Smashing Into Parked Car
MILEY CYRUS has found herself at the centre of a hit-and-run controversy after allegedly smashing her car into a parked vehicle in Los Angeles before speeding off.
A Los Angeles restaurant parking attendant, the owner of the other car, claims Cyrus was driving a Mercedes-Benz SUV when she struck his 1991 Camry earlier this week (begs13Sep10).
His attorney, Mauro Fiore, tells TMZ.com the Hannah Montana star left her phone number with the parking attendant and drove off, leaving his client to deal with his banged up car.
The Camry owner failed to file a police report at the time of the incident, but is said to have notified cops of the alleged accident on Friday (17Sep10).
Fiore insists the crash was a hit-and-run but Cyrus is unlikely to face police prosecution - officials state the incident would not be considered as such because the singer/actress left her contact details with the alleged victim.
Cyrus' representative has refused to address the report, issuing a firm "no comment".
It's the teen star's second driving scandal this week - her spokesperson was forced to deny rumours Cyrus had been pulled over by police for talking on her cell phone while driving on Monday (13Sep10), insisting cops came to her assistance to fend off the paparazzi.
