Justin Bieber finally got to take the stage as a VMA winner, winning the award for Best New Artist for his video for 'Baby' featuring Ludacris. This marks the first Moon Man for Bieber, who also performed the song earlier at the awards show.

The Best New Artist category was hotly contested, with Bieber going up against recent superstars Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj as well as Jason Derulo and Broken Bells. Then again, considering 'Baby' is the most watched music video in YouTube history, it should come as no surprise the Biebz walked off with the win.
