Miley Cyrus looked hot to trot as she stepped out in Los Angeles today in a pair of Daisy Dukes, teamed with a rather stylish pair of cowgirl boots.
The 17-year-old singer and actress was pictured pounding the streets in her embroidered footwear with a friend in Westwood.
Miley completed her summery look with a white top, a dream catcher necklace and black bag.

Just last weekend, she showed off her latest tattoo, a heart on the little finger of her right hand - even though tattoos are illegal for under 18s in the U.S.
It's the star's fifth and is similar to a heart dad Billy Ray had tattooed onto his left hand two years ago.
These latest pictures of the star come just a week after she raised eyebrows after being caught in a very passionate clinch with her on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20.
The Disney star was dropping the Australian actor off after an outing together, with the couple's farewell kissing session lingering for more than ten minutes.

The pair, who first met on the set of teen drama The Last Song in 2009, split last month but have now got back together.

When not raising eye-brows, Miley has been filming LOL: Laugh Out Loud alongside Ashley Greene and Demi Moore.
She plays the lead role of Lola in the coming-of-age film about a school girl and her friends making their way in a world connected by YouTube iTunes, and Facebook.
It's due out next year.

The 20-year-old country star - who has dated Taylor Lautner and was famously dumped by Joe Jonas on the phone – struggles to cope with the complexities of dating and relationships and tries to make sense of her romantic life by writing songs inspired by her romantic liaisons.She said: “Naturally, I want to write songs about love and relationships because I find it find it all very confusing. When I meet someone new I live somewhere between hope and fear. Hope that this time it could be different, and fear that it will turn out like it has before.”

While Taylor admits writing songs about her heartbreak is therapeutic, she feels “vulnerable” when she listens back to the lyrics.
She told America’s OK! magazine: “I’ve written all the songs on it about things that have happened over the last two years, and a lot has happened over the last two years. It’s been very eventful, a lot of adventures and misadventures. I have a lot fun doing this and getting to write songs about what happens in my life, but putting it all out there in your music – all the details – you’re taking a chance with that because you are very vulnerable.”
Taylor also revealed she now hopes to put the Kanye West controversy completely behind her.
At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), the rapper interrupted Taylor in the middle of her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video prize to tell the audience Beyonce Knowles should have won, resulting in an avalanche of criticism.
Taylor – who, along with Kanye, performed at the 2010 VMAs in September - said: “For me, I felt like performing VMAs was the best way to go out there and sing how I was actually feeling, being there really helped put all that behind me.”

Either she was trying to stay cool, or look hot enough to make us forget the oppressive heat - we are not quite sure.
The 17-year-old's attire for the late lunch - short shorts, white tank and blazer - was certainly intriguing.
Miley accessorized with black John Lennon style sunglasses, three necklaces - one of them reaching her thighs - a chunky ring on her left hand middle finger, black booties, and a shoulder bag with charm embellishments on the shoulder strap.

Selena Gomez is a big fan of musical show Glee and would love a one-off special appearance if she were asked.

When asked if she would consider shooting scenes for the all-singing, all-dancing show if writers approached her, the A Year Without Rain singer replied: "Yes, I would! Who wouldn't?

"That show is so awesome. They are so funny!," Selena, who says her fans are amazing, continued to say in praise of the popular series.

"I love Lea Michele and Cory Monteith... I would love to play a nerdy role, that would be so much fun!" she said.

Selena starred alongside Monteith (who plays the role of Finn Hudson in Glee) in her new movie Monte Carlo, which is released in early 2011. Other stars in the film include Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.

Taylor Lautner appears to be making a career out of stripping on-screen. In an upcoming superhero movie "Stretch Armstrong," Lautner is said to be ditching the shirt again, as what he did in two Twilight films (New Moon, and Eclipse).

"Stretch Armstrong" director Nick Stroll was recently asked by MTV how he would use the advantage of Taylor Lautner's six-pack abs, arguably Taylor's most well-known asset which continue to elicit screams of admiration from the ladies in theatres.

"He will not wear a shirt. Yeah he won't wear a shirt through the whole thing," Nick told MTV over a telephone interview. "I'm sure we will find a way for him not to have his shirt on at some point in the movie."

But  Taylor Lautner's bulging muscles would not be the only selling point for "Stretch Armstrong." The movie, said the director, has a very grounded superhero mythology based on the idea of a stretchy toy. Still, having a famous Hollywood star attached to "Stretch Armstong" is certainly a boost for the film.

Nick Stroll thinks having Taylor Lautner on the set is "exciting" and "pretty cool."

"It's really exciting to get to work with a star who's just so, like, white hot right now," Nick said.

"I mean when we were hanging out with him, I've never seen more people come up to a celebrity before, so yeah, it was pretty cool." 

The director has only praises for Lautner, whom some detractors berates for allegedly not having any acting ability.

"[Taylor Lautner] is just this really nice kid, it's such a funny thing to witness. And he's smart. He's got really good notes on the script. He's just the real deal and, yeah, he happens to have an awesome six pack."

The honeymoon plans for the pair in ‘Breaking Dawn’ are in negotiations. Firstly, the honeymoon filming was set in Brazil. Because of security concerns in Brazil, the makers have already decided to change the film locations.

The Jonas Brothers aren't afraid of Justin Bieber's success.
The pop trio - siblings Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas - are not worried their fans might start supporting the Baby hitmaker instead of them.
Kevin said: "I think there is room for everybody. We're not afraid of anything or worried about anything.
We're just being who we are and making music that we love. We're proud of the guys that are following their dreams. As long as they're doing it for the right reasons, we'll totally support them."
The brothers have always had a lot of female fans, and their girl admirers were seemingly relieved earlier this year to learn that Joe, 21, had split from his singer-and-actress girlfriend Demi Lovato.
Although they are no longer dating, Joe insists they are close friends and still have a lot of fun together.
He said: "Me and Demi, we've known each other for a long time. We're very close friends. We've been friends for a long time.
"Some things work out, some things don't. That's just how it is. It's always fun working on screen and off stage with Demi. We have a lot of fun."

Whose tunes will be filling the Top 40 during the coming year? If Billboard is right, it'll be a bunch of pretty young things. The magazine just released their "21 Under 21: Music's Hottest Minors," list, and it's a mishmash of radio staples (Sean Kingston), fresh faces (Willow Smith) and a few we've never even heard of (Never Shout Never).
Country sweetheart Taylor Swift, 20, took the top spot on the list, with 16-year-old Justin Bieber hot on her heels at No. 2. With Bieber Fever sweeping the nation, we're a bit surprised JBiebs didn't claim No. 1. Though, we guess it's good to leave a little room for growth, right? Keep reading after the jump to see whose ranking surprised us the most!

Coming in at No. 4 (she beat out Miley!) is "Glee" newcomer Charice Pempengco, 18. Charice just started her run as Sunshine Corazon on the FOX series, but she's been singing her little heart out for a while. She was featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" two years ago, and her career has been full speed ahead ever since, especially with the success of her first album, Charice.
Gleeks definitely have a lot to look forward to this season with Charice guest-starring, but she isn't the only "Glee" star on the list: Chris Colfer, 20, placed at No. 13.

A teenage daughter coming home with a tattoo is usually enough to send most parents into a tailspin.
But that's not the case in the Cyrus family, where Miley's latest body art matches a tattoo her father had inked two years ago.
Miley's third tattoo, a heart on the little finger of her right hand, is similar to a heart dad Billy Ray had tattooed onto his left hand two years ago.

'We were sitting beside each other and I noticed she just picked up my hand and she drew this little heart on there,' Billy Ray told Access Hollywood.
When a 17-year-old Miley wanted to get her first tattoo in 2009, it was mum Tish that signed the consent form, before she and husband Billy Ray requested some body art themselves.

The tattoo artist in question was Christopher Garcia, an award-winning Hollywood tattoo artist, who has also tattooed Miley's half-brother Trace, 22, who has a 'full sleeve' of tattoos on both arms.

US law prohibits tattoos for under eighteens, so it caused controversy when pictures of Miley's 'Just breathe' tattoo emerged last December.
Garcia told Philipino website Spot: 'During her tour last year, (her camp) had me fly out to Miami to do her first tattoo. Because she was only 17 at the time, her mom talked to me and I had her mom sign a consent form.

Miley's most recent addition is a small heart on the little finger of her right hand, but in comparison to her parents, Miley's three tattoos are quite modest.
Billy Ray has as a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm and a Native American portrait on his left.
Her mother has tattoos including angel wings on her back and flowers on her abdomen.

While Selena may feel that her style is "boring," there are plenty of teen stars out there who are catching flack for their decidedly non-boring outfits. Both Miley Cyrus and Taylor Momsen have been slammed by critics for dressing provocatively. Apparently, teen fashion icons can't catch a break when it comes to pleasing everyone with their style.

He stated that he didn’t feel any kind of shyness or embarrassment while doing those love making scene is ‘Charlie St. Cloud’. He was giving an interview on the Australian radio when he was asked about all those steamy scenes he replied “To be honest with you I really enjoyed the love scenes. We really just saw where it took us and it was pleasurable!” He has also accepted that he wanted come out of ‘his shell’. High School Musical was a teenage movie, and it was good to become a heartthrob, but he knows very well, that if someone wants to do well in movies, he will have to do good movies. ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ has all those things which will give him good exposure. “I was looking for a dramatic role for a long time and wanted to see how it is to star in a drama. So far, I’ve only scratched the surface of what it means to be a good actor.” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. He also revealed that he was a bit scared with this movie because dramas are always very tough gene. He thought that he might fail. But he kept his head held high, and people are appreciating his effort.
