Miley joined the ranks of Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen in the CNN report, which asks which celebrities have provoked the most continuous shock and outrage and who had the most lasting impact.
Miley’s entry reads: “Miley spent 2010 hell-bent on destroying her squeaky-clean “Hannah Montana” image. Her wardrobe became increasingly skimpy, her on-stage performances became increasingly risqué…and the music videos in support of her new album, appropriately titled ‘Can’t Be Tamed’, became increasingly steamy.”
The entry concludes that Miley “has shown no remorse for her controversial march to adulthood. Who knows how far the now-adult Miley will push the envelope in 2011.”
While the ‘Party In The USA’ singer has veered into a more raunchy direction these days, she still has a long way to go before she is put up against Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan.
The crown was awarded to Lady Gaga, based on the sheer impact she made with her antics. Her poultry couture will definitely go down in pop history.
