Selena Gomez has a crush on 'Twilight' vampire Edward Cullen.
The 18-year-old star was attracted to the blood-sucker when she watched the first film in the hugely popular series, but insists her feelings don't extend to actor Robert Pattinson who plays the character.
She said: "When I watched the first 'Twilight' film, I definitely liked Edward. Do I think Robert Pattinson is hot? I think Edward, his character, is."
The singer-and-actress admits her Edward crush makes it awkward when she sees her friend Taylor Lautner - who plays werewolf Jacob Black.
Selena added to Top of the Pops magazine: "I can't help being in team Edward! But Taylor is great in the movies, too, though. He's super-talented."
Selena is also friends with Justin Bieber and she admits the teen pop sensation is like "a brother" to her.
She recently said: "Justin's like my little brother. He's a great friend."

Selena Gomez and the Scene were at Disneyland to perform at the Winter Wonderland and we have two videos to share with you from their performance. You can catch both at the bottom of this post.
I have to say that I think this is fabulous that she and her band have had the chance to sing at Disneyland. I hope we can expect to hear more of her helping them celebrate the holidays. It would be an honor for any Disney star.
What do you think of her being at Disneyland for the opening up the holiday season there? I think it was a smart move for both Disney and Selena both. I do hope though that she does get a break, and so does her band. After all, they have had a very busy year thus far. I also like the fact that they had Nick Cannon attending the event as well. That was a nice surprise, since I am not sure how he affiliated with Disney.

The A Year Without Rain singer says she felt like she would miss out on important events in her childhood, but soon got over it.
"I actually cried," the Ramona and Beezus actress explained about her home school experience.
"We were moving and I had no choice. I was like, ‘I’m not going to get a locker and I'm not going to go to prom’
"That [annoyance] lasted a month and then I was fine," added Sel, who recently denied she is dating Justin Bieber. "Especially after talking to my friends about what they were dealing with at school," she shared.
It's rumored Selena is considering university and she also hinted she may choose acting over singing in the future.

London, Nov 8 (IANS) Singer Justin Bieber would love to have superhero powers, such as the ability to fly or stop time.
The 16-year-old 'Baby' hitmaker is a huge fan of comic book superheroes and would love to have similar special powers, reports contactmusic.com.
'I would love to be a superhero. I would love to be able to fly of course, but my other power would be something like the ability to pause time. That could really come in handy,' he said.

Selena Gomez doesn’t like dating as she “never knows what to do”.
The 18-year-old actress-and-singer is best known for her portrayal of Alex Russo on the Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place, and her pretty looks have gained her a legion of male admirers.Selena admits she still isn’t very comfortable around the opposite sex though, especially guys she finds attractive, so she avoids going on romantic dates.
“I don’t actually like dates. I get awkward as I never know what to do. I still get butterflies and wobbly legs around a boy I like,” she confessed in an interview with the British edition of OK! magazine.
The gorgeous star did have some advice for young girls looking for love though, insisting they should never try to be someone else. She also thinks teenagers shouldn’t worry about settling down and should concentrate on having fun.
“The best thing is to be very open and don’t shut yourself off. Enjoy being young,” she advised.

He explained: “Dating Vanessa makes many things much easier, because you understand each other without having to explain a lot. In terms of planning, I am very picky – worse than any woman. I drive everyone mad, except for Vanessa, she is always very understanding.
“The only disadvantage is that she is always dressed so stunningly that I look awkward and stand out.”

Taylor Swift’s ‘Speak Now’ Sells One Million Copies in First Week
Speak Now’ is the first album since Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter III’ to push one million units in one week on the charts
In the weeks leading up to its release, tracks from Taylor Swift’s third studio album, Speak Now, were released on the Internet. With songs rumored to be dedicated to such high-profile celebrities as Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and Kanye West, Speak Now was met with a great deal of fanfare and media attention.
It turns out that all the publicity has paid off in spades. Hits Daily Double reports that Speak Now is a “lock” to sell more than a million copies in its first week. The album is also expected to establish a new record for percentage of total sales in a single week.
Industry experts are projecting that Speak Now’s total sales will lie between 17-18%, which would best the previous record set by NSYNC’s No Strings Attached when it pushed 2.4 million units for 15.3% of total sales in March 2000.
If the projections prove to be accurate, Swift’s Speak Now will become the first release to sell a million albums in its first week since Lil Wayne’s sixth studio album, Tha Carter III, debuted in June 2008.
Garth Brooks’ tenth album, Double Live, was the last country release to sell more than a million albums in a single week when it debuted in November 1998.
When taking the current state of the music industry into consideration, Swift’s accomplishment becomes even more staggering.

Shocking as it sounds, Taylor says she loves it when Selena gets fired up."Selena's awesome when she's mad," Taylor revealed. "Like, you have no idea. She talks so fast. If it's really late at night and she calls me, I'm like, 'I'm picking that up! This is going to be really good. It's not obscene, it's just really funny."Now if only Selena would show some of that emotion in public!
