Miley Cyrus debuts short haircut via Twitter

Miley Cyrus debuts short haircut via Twitter

Miley Cyrus sports a new, short cut.
Teen singer-actress Miley Cyrus has traded her long blond locks for a platinum pixie-punk cut.
"It's happening," she tweeted Sunday afternoon, minutes after posting an image of a partially obscured hairstylist about to cut off her topknot. In response to alarmed reactions from some of her 7.5 million Twitter followers, she quickly added, "If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)"
Shortly thereafter, the mystery scissors were revealed as those of celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan, who created Jennifer Aniston's "Rachel" hairdo for "Friends" in the 1990s.
By 9:39 p.m. the deed was done: Cyrus, 19, tweeted a photo of her new 'do with a hugely delighted smile on her face. "Never felt more me in my whole life," she wrote afterward.
Cyrus remained content Monday, tweeting, "Feeling so happy in my skin."
TV viewers may soon get a chance to see her new hair in action on CBS' "Two and Half Men," on which she will guest-star in a multi-episode arc, E! News said Monday. Representatives for Cyrus and for the show had no response.

The Top 10 Most Popular YouTube Videos of All Time

The Top 10 Most Popular YouTube Videos of All Time

Tracking YouTube’s all-time most popular videos is like taking snapshots of what people are into at various points in time and taking a temperature reading of our modern culture. And I’ll tell you what: According to this list, we’re running hot — particularly when it comes to streaming.
In August 2007, “Evolution of Dance” by Judson Laipply nabbed the top spot with almost 56 million views. In September 2008, Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend” music vid was numero uno, with 103 million views. By January 2010, she was unseated by “Charlie bit my finger – again !“, which had 148 million views. While it stayed on the top 10 list, the clip slid down the ranks, and Justin Bieber’s music video “Baby” snagged the #1 spot in January 2011, and it still tops the chart.
Five years ago, nearly 56 million views was enough to land a video at the top of the list. Now, a clip has to exceed at least 765 million just to oust The Bieb. As for what that says about us, we’re apparently a pop music-loving and rambunctious baby-watching audience with a growing online streaming obsession.
The current list of top 10 most popular YouTube videos follows:

1. Justin Bieber – Baby ft. Ludacris (almost 765 million views)
2. Jennifer Lopez – On The Floor ft. Pitbull (575 million+ views)
3. Shakira – Waka Waka(This Time for Africa) (485 million+ views)
4. Lady Gaga – Bad Romance (almost 480 million views)
5. Eminem – Love The Way You Lie ft. Rihanna (481 million+ views)
6. Charlie bit my finger – again ! (almost 470 million views)

7. LMFAO – Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett, GoonRock (468 million+ views)
8. Michel Teló – Ai Se Eu Te Pego – Oficial (Assim você me mata) (407 million+ views)
9. Don Omar – Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo (almost 372 million views)
10. Eminem – Not Afraid (almost 353 million views)
And for no other reason than just for kicks, here are some of my favs that didn’t make the list. Enjoy! JB Fanvideo by Overly Attached Girlfriend
