Selena Gomez Was Robbed At The 2011 MTV VMA Nominations!
Selena Gomez wasn’t nominated for ONE MTV Video Music Award this year! Doesn’t that seem weird?
Apparently the folks over at MTV aren’t drinking the Selena Gomez Kool-Aid — or maybe they are blind — because they didn’t nominate our favorite little gem for even ONE MTV Video Music Award this year…and I actually thought she deserved it!The 18-year-old starlet produced one vid in particular I thought should have been considered. “Love You Like A Love Song” premiered earlier this month, already has more than 17 million views on YouTube and is one of the most visually pleasing videos I’ve seen all year. Sure, it’s not conceptually elaborate, but neither are all of Katy Perry‘s videos — and she was nominated a whopping (and excessive) nine times.
Talk about overkill.
In “Love You Like A Love Song,” Selena sings her single in a karaoke bar, when she suddenly becomes a part of the kitschy karaoke video, transforming from a hula-hooping hippy to a ’50s convertible girl and more. Like I said before, it’s not super complicated — but it’s thoroughly entertaining.
Those of you who follow anything I write, know I’m obsessed with Selena, so perhaps that’s clouding my viewpoint. But I really don’t think so. If Katy was nominated nine times, Selena could have at least earned one

taylor Swift Cancels Three More Shows
Taylor Swift has become the second singer so far to cancel shows due to illness. Earlier last month Adele had to cancel half of her US tour dates due to laryngitis and now the country starlet has had to cancel three shows due to bronchitis.
The 21 year old had to cancel a show in Kentucky on Saturday just hours before she was due to take the stage. This has marked the first time the ‘Mine’ singer has been forced to miss a show due to ill health. The illness has caused the singer to postpone three more upcoming concert dates in North Carolina and Georgia after seeing a doctor that urged her to take her rest and that she was not well enough to perform. Taylor released a statement saying she was truly saddened that she had to cancel this weekends shows and that she has to miss out on the shows in Charlotte and Atlanta.
While it is sad news that bronchitis has taken Taylor from her tour, the singer has promised that she will come back to the towns she had to miss out on. Taylor is scheduled to resume her tour in Montreal, Canada on July 17th and hopefully she’ll be feeling much better by then.

It's a debate of who's hotter, Selena Gomez vs Miley Cyrus, with all eyes on tonight's show. As the 2011 MMVA's go live, it will be Selena Gomez handling the show. Selena has an upcoming movie "Monte Carlo" and album to promote, so it'll be a big night for the young star in terms of performing and promoting. Last year saw her fellow teen star, Miley Cyrus, in charge of the 2010 event. Cyrus really wowed and shocked some with her choice of outfits, which she seems notorious for doing at the various events and concerts she performs at.The choice of who's hotter for the MMVA's show really comes down to preference. Selena Gomez seems to represent the sweet and innocent girl, conservative by nature, and Justin Bieber's main squeeze. She hasn't really had any memorable celeb scandals or controversies. Miley Cyrus has "Can't Be Tamed" and it's clear from her hosting of the show last year as well as her sexy performances this past year, hosting of "SNL" and her various celeb incidents. Basically, you could compare Selena and Miley to "Sugar & Spice" from the "Batman" movies, with the good girl and the bad girl paired together. It'll be interesting to see if Gomez goes for some risque outfits and performances tonight, but most would probably bet she'll keep it conservative.

The Title itself is an answer , who cares if he is gay , some people think that he is gay ,but i dont think so
people think he is gay because he has girly voice or face ? but he also has an girlfriend , millions of girls love him , he is popular among girls not in gays . and Nobody cares what "some" people think .
if they think they have a "Boys" Voice why dont they just get nominated for grammy or earn Millions of $$$
or act in a 3D movie? if god made his (jb) voice like this God made beautiful voice , he is talented , so down to earth,and maybe most popular teen ever ? .
People who think that he is gay are Just Jealous of him , though they have right to talk shit about JB but believe me

Just in case you missed it the first time, Rebecca Black really likes Justin Bieber. She’s also is still very interested in doing a collaboration with the Canadian superstar, and while Beliebers might be offended by comparisons made between her and the Biebster, Rebecca puts a more optimistic spin on in.
“I love Justin Bieber,” Rebecca recently told E! News, “so it is like the biggest compliment I’ve ever gotten I think, so, it’s so cool.”
While I’m not a fan of Black’s Friday, I do respect her for realizing she’s a newbie in the world of music, and she’s more than willing to let Justin call the shots if her dream team-up does occur. When asked about the type of music she’d like to sing with Justin, Rebecca responded, “I would leave that up to him. He’s had more experience than I’ve had, so that’s his choice.”
Although no talk of a collab was mentioned, Rebecca also pointed out another star she admires, “I love Selena Gomez. She’s been in the industry since she was so young, and she hasn’t gotten caught up in all of the rehab or drugs or whatever.”
It’s probably fitting that Black tossed out Selena’s name, since both of them have experience with death threats from people who are just a little bit too passionate about the celebs in the music industry. While she’s new to the spotlight, Rebecca seems to be taking it calmly, “It doesn’t scare me. They’re people that don’t know me. They’d have to do a lot to get a hold of me and I have a really good support team and a lot of protection going on, so I think I’m good.”
It seems like Rebecca is getting pretty busy with all the offers rolling in from Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, and Good Morning America, but some of her latest tweets indicate that she’s not too busy to work on new music.

Miley Cyrus may feel a little embarrassed after her acceptance speech at the Kids’ Choice Awards. The singer/actress won for Favorite Female Singer and started to cry when giving her acceptance speech.
According to the L.A. Times, critics “lambasted her” for taking the event so seriously, when it is intended to be a light-hearted event.
Cyrus, embarrassed by the crying, said after the show, “I don't know why that happened.…That was like bad teenage hormones kicked in where I was just like, so touched."
But the crying was not the only thing people had a problem with. People also seemed to be weary of the outfit she had on for the Awards show. Us Magazine reported that even though fellow peers of Cyrus stayed casual, the singer wore an “oddly formal” dress.
Cyrus was nominated for three awards that night.
