Demi Lovato Signed ‘No Suicide’ Contract at Age 7

Hollywood is a nutty town that plays by its own rules but this has to be one of the most cray cray things we’ve EVER heard. Demi Lovato has revealed that she signed a “no suicide” contract at the age of 7. What the…?
Lovato, 20, has always been vocal about her struggles with bipolarity and depression. After she left rehab for cutting and other issues, she became the poster girl for triumph and survival when it comes to these sorts of mental health matters.
The singer and actress, who starred in ‘Barney & Friends’ as a youngster, revealed to Rolling Stone (quotes via The Daily Mail) that she signed a contract promising not to kill herself.
She revealed, “The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself. They weren’t expecting that so young.”
That had to send her parents into a tailspin, that’s for sure. But does anyone really think that a 7 year old understands the implications of suicide and the value of a signed contract? It’s beyond their level of comprehension.
It sounds a bit ridiculous to us. While Lovato may have exhibited some sort of behavior to scare the adults around her, perhaps pulling her out of show biz or getting her into therapy would have been a more effective choice, no?
Lovato was said to have tweeted Paris Jackson, who allegedly tried to kill herself on Wednesday, posting: “Dear Paris Jackson, don’t let bullies to let you down…We believe in you!! Stay strong, Please … You’re beautiful and we love you. #Praying.”
That tweet is no longer on Lovato’s feed and appears to have been deleted.
Regardless, if anyone knows how to survive, it’s Lovato

Heading to Mexico to promote their new movie, the stars of "Grown Ups 2" attended the photo call at The 5th Annual Summer Of Sony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun on Thursday (April 18).
Dressed casually for the event were Taylor Lautner, David Spade, Adam Sandler, and Kevin James, while their beautiful costar Salma Hayek opted for a brown short-sleeved knee-length dress and platform heels.

The sequel follows Lenny as he moves his family back to his hometown alongside his old posse of childhood friends.
Directed by Dennis Dugan, the flick also stars Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Tim Meadows, Maria Bellow, Colin Quinn, and Steve Buscemi. "Grown Ups 2" hits theaters on July 12th.
