Demi Lovato Signed ‘No Suicide’ Contract at Age 7
Hollywood is a nutty town that plays by its own rules but this has to be one of the most cray cray things we’ve EVER heard. Demi Lovato has revealed that she signed a “no suicide” contract at the age of 7. What the…?
Lovato, 20, has always been vocal about her struggles with bipolarity and depression. After she left rehab for cutting and other issues, she became the poster girl for triumph and survival when it comes to these sorts of mental health matters.
The singer and actress, who starred in ‘Barney & Friends’ as a youngster, revealed to Rolling Stone (quotes via The Daily Mail) that she signed a contract promising not to kill herself.
She revealed, “The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself. They weren’t expecting that so young.”
That had to send her parents into a tailspin, that’s for sure. But does anyone really think that a 7 year old understands the implications of suicide and the value of a signed contract? It’s beyond their level of comprehension.
It sounds a bit ridiculous to us. While Lovato may have exhibited some sort of behavior to scare the adults around her, perhaps pulling her out of show biz or getting her into therapy would have been a more effective choice, no?
Lovato was said to have tweeted Paris Jackson, who allegedly tried to kill herself on Wednesday, posting: “Dear Paris Jackson, don’t let bullies to let you down…We believe in you!! Stay strong, Please … You’re beautiful and we love you. #Praying.”
That tweet is no longer on Lovato’s feed and appears to have been deleted.
Regardless, if anyone knows how to survive, it’s Lovato

Selena Gomez vs. Miley Cyrus vs. Demi Lovato: Who’s Your Favorite Cosmopolitan Cover Girl? – Readers Poll
Selena Gomez vs. Miley Cyrus vs. Demi Lovato: Who’s Your Favorite Cosmopolitan Cover Girl? – Readers Poll
Former Disney foxes Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are all grown up now, and to prove their womanly status even more, each of the pop princesses has turned up their sex appeal by covering Cosmopolitan magazine this past year.Sel took the March 2012 cover, Demi covered the June 2012 issue, and Miley’s the most recent cover girl, posing for March 2013 issue.
While all of these magazine covers differ greatly, catering to each of these females’ different personalities and styles, who do you think is the best Cosmo cover girl? Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato?
For her Cosmo cover, ‘Who Says’ songstress Selena kept that sweet and sexy air about her. Donning a pink, flowing, beachy dress that shows off some cleavage, Gomez gives the camera a sultry stare as her brown, wavy locks blow in the wind. We love how much movement is on Selena’s Cosmo cover, with the billowy fabric of her dress and windswept hair. Her makeup also looks fabulous, as usual, and her accompanying photo spread (which you can get a taste of below) delivers even more sex appeal in an age appropriate way.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus’ cover absolutely oozes sexiness in a much more direct way. Cyrus loves showing off skin, and with a body like that, who wouldn’t? The Pilates junkie is super fit and ridiculously hot, and her Cosmo cover reflects this. Hannah Montana is dead and buried, as Cyrus sheds her shirt, flashing her unbelievable abs and cleavage to the camera beneath her chic white pantsuit. Her red lips and bleached blond hair look fantastic, and her seductive stare has us all kinds of hot and bothered. Miley, frame this one for your boy Liam! And if you check out the pic below, you can see one of Miley’s super cute and playful photos from inside the mag.
Then there’s Demi Lovato, who seems to be reprising her role as Sunny on last June’s cover of Cosmo. The ‘Give Your Heart a Break’ songstress kicked off the summer magazine season in a body-con, bright yellow zip dress that was very va-va-voom. Like her Disney pals, she’s baring a bit of cleavage and flaunting her curvaceous figure. The cutouts on her dress are super hot and give another flash of her beautiful sun-kissed skin, and her hair looks flawless blowing in the wind. Lovato’s smile is also a nice change, but she can throw out a “come hither” stare with the best of ‘em, if you refer to her photo spread from inside the mag below.
